The apprenticeships are primarily supervised at our main location in Nettetal, where the practical content is also taught. The theoretical knowledge for the apprenticeship in Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management is acquired at the Rhein-Maas Vocational College, for the apprenticeship in Warehouse Logistics at the Viersen Vocational College, and for the apprenticeship in IT Specialist for System Integration at the Vocational College in Mönchengladbach.
All apprenticeships last three years and can be shortened to 2.5 years on application if successful.
During the apprenticeship in Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management, there is an opportunity to have international assignments. You can find more information in the information box “Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management”.
During the training period in the field of wholesale and foreign trade management, there is the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ program and to be deployed for several weeks in one of the Industrial Cable Connectivity companies across Europe.
TKD trains in order to prepare the trainees for later tasks in our company and thus to have qualified junior staff. This means that there is a very good chance of being taken on by TKD as a permanent employee after completion of the training.
